Premium Pontoon Material
Trident pontoons are crafted from top-quality marine-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance and durability.
Heavy-Duty Keels
Our solid aluminum keels are welded along the entire length of the pontoons, providing unmatched strength and protection.
Airtight Bulkheads
Each 5-foot section of the pontoon includes a solid airtight bulkhead, ensuring compartmental buoyancy, enhanced strength, and maximum safety. These boats are practically unsinkable!
Inspection Ports
Every 5-foot airtight section features an inspection port, sealed with a removable expansion cap and through-hull inspection plate for easy access and maintenance.
Pressure Test Plugs
Each section is equipped with U.S. Coast Guard-approved air pressure test points for added safety and reliability.
Reinforced Nose Cones and End Caps
The forward and aft sections are reinforced with airtight nose cones and end caps to withstand potential impacts, enhancing durability and safety.
The “M” Bracket
Designed to secure the pontoons to the deck, these 36-inch-long brackets are made from marine-grade aluminum, welded for maximum stability, ensuring a dry and safe ride.
Durable Cross Members
Trident cross members are made of .250 thickness, 2” x 4” aluminum, specifically designed for structural use. These components ensure the integrity of the pontoon by securely connecting the deck to the pontoons.
Superior Deck Structure
The deck features 3/4-inch, 7-ply Douglas Fir plywood treated with .40 CCA pressure treatment, guaranteed for 50 years by Greenwood Forest Products. This results in a strong, quiet, and long-lasting deck.
High-Quality Hardware
All bolts, nuts, washers, and related hardware are made of marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel to ensure long-lasting quality and durability.
High-Performance Transom Mount
Trident’s patented motor mount design is made from 3/16” welded aluminum. This self-bailing design highlights our dedication to continuous improvement and superior performance.
Innovative Structural Grid System
After securing the deck to the cross members, we install a 4” x 4” aluminum angle structural grid around the deck’s edge. This system ensures the pontoon remains rigid and flex-free, regardless of length—another exclusive Trident innovation.
